Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 August 2026
This document describes your rights and obligations on Hisn Alzawaj. It is written to be read, not signed: no convoluted legal drafting, and no clause that the service itself does not honour. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy — that one says what we do with your data, this one says what happens between you, us, and other members.
Who we are, and what you agree to
Hisn Alzawaj is a matchmaking service for Islamic marriage. It runs entirely inside Telegram, through the bot @HisnAlzawaj_bot.
Using the bot means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it — and you may delete your account at any moment.
This document does not cover Telegram itself: it is a separate platform with its own terms, and it governs what happens to your account there.
Who may use the service
The service is for people aged 18 and over, up to 80. The bot computes your age from your date of birth and refuses anyone below it — no exceptions, no appeal.
It is for people seeking marriage. Anyone here for anything else is in the wrong place.
Your data must be truthful — age, marital status, nationality and the rest. Lying is not merely a breach against us: it harms the person who made a decision based on it.
One account per person.
What we promise — and what we do not
We promise to show you what matches your criteria as far as the data allows, to protect your privacy exactly as the Privacy Policy states, and to look into every report we receive.
We do not promise a marriage, nor a reply from anyone, nor that everything members write is true. A compatibility score compares written data; it is not a judgement about a person.
Identity verification is optional: the badge means a check accepted what was submitted to it, not that we vouch for the person.
Verifying anyone before you commit is your own responsibility. Do not travel, pay money, or share a secret on the strength of a conversation alone.
What is strictly forbidden
Any of these draws action, and some of them a ban on the first occurrence:
- Impersonating another person, or using their photos and details.
- Asking another member for money, donations or investment, in any form.
- Harassment, blackmail, threats, or obscene language.
- Publishing another member's data, photos or conversations outside the bot.
- Saving, screenshotting or forwarding a photo you were granted access to.
- Advertising, or recruiting members to another service.
- Repeated or automated messaging, and attempts to bypass usage limits.
Being granted a photo grants you a look and nothing more — not a copy, not a forward. The owner may withdraw that permission whenever they wish.
Reports, warnings, and bans
Any member may report another from inside the bot, and every report is reviewed.
A breach draws a warning, and 3 warnings mean an automatic ban.
Serious cases — blackmail, impersonation, financial exploitation, or anything involving a minor — are banned on the first occurrence, with no escalation ladder.
You may also block any member yourself, with no report and no reason given.
The card we publish, and the permission you give us
By completing your registration you permit us to publish a profile card about you on our official channels and pages: without your photo, without your family name, and without any contact detail. The Privacy Policy has the detail.
You may switch publishing off for yourself at any time from the "My profile" screen, and we then remove what was published.
This permission is limited to that purpose alone: we do not sell your data, and we do not use it to advertise anyone else.
What you write yourself — your bio and the qualities you are looking for — remains yours; you permit us to display it inside the service and on the card, nowhere else.
Premium membership and payment
The core service is free. Premium membership unlocks advanced search, direct messaging, seeing who liked you, and priority placement.
Payment is by Telegram Stars or cryptocurrency, and activation is immediate once payment is confirmed.
One-off packages do not renew: they end when their term ends. The renewing monthly Stars subscription, by contrast, is charged by **Telegram** every thirty days until you cancel it in Telegram settings, not with us.
The transaction happens at Telegram or at the payment provider, not with us, so we never see your card or wallet details. We keep the transaction identifier, its amount and its date — which is what makes a refund request possible when one is due.
Refunds go through the payment provider itself and follow its policy. Anyone banned for a breach is not refunded.
Ending the service, and deleting your account
You may delete your account at any moment from inside the bot. Deletion is a cascade: it erases your profile, likes, matches and messages, and withdraws what was published about you.
An account left dormant for a long time may be deleted after a known period — to protect searchers from profiles with nobody behind them.
We may suspend an account, end the service, or change its features. If we suspend an account that committed no breach, anything paid for a term not yet elapsed is reconsidered fairly.
Changes to these terms, and contact
We may amend this document; the last-updated date appears at the top of the page. Continuing to use the service after an amendment is acceptance of it.
For questions or complaints: from inside the bot directly, or through our official channel.
